Established in 1961, Islamic University of Madinah is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Medina (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Al Madinah. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia, Islamic University of Madinah (IU) is a medium-sized men only Saudi Arabian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Islamic University of Madinah (IU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. IU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
