Founded in 1661, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Lviv (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Lviv Oblast. This 361 years old Ukrainian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades.
