Established in 2007, Jaamacada Eelo (Eelo University) is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Borama (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Somaliland. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Somaliland, Jaamacada Eelo (EU) is a small coeducational Somali higher education institution. Jaamacada Eelo (EU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study.
