Founded in 2002, Jawzjan University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Sheberghan (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Jowzjan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan, Jawzjan University (JU) is a coeducational Afghan higher education institution. Jawzjan University (JU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. JU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
