Established in 1947, Jeonbuk National University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Jeonju (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), North Jeolla. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) is a coeducational South Korean higher education institution. Jeonbuk National University (JBNU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
