Established in 1958, Jishou University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Jishou (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Hunan. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Hunan Province, Jishou University (JSU) is a large coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Jishou University (JSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. JSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
