Founded in 1979, Joongang Sangha University is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Gunpo (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Gyeonggi. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Joongang Sangha University is a coeducational South Korean higher education institution formally affiliated with the Buddhist religion. Joongang Sangha University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Joongang Sangha University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
