Established in 1984, Joongbu University is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Geumsan (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South Chungcheong. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Joongbu University is a coeducational South Korean higher education institution. Joongbu University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Joongbu University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
