Established in 2000, Kõrgem Kunstikool Pallas (Pallas University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Tartu (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Tartu County. Officially recognized by the Eesti Vabariigi Haridus-ja Teadusministeerium (Ministry of Education and Research of Estonia), Kõrgem Kunstikool Pallas (TKK) is a coeducational Estonian higher education institution. Kõrgem Kunstikool Pallas (TKK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
