Established in 1917, Kainan University is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Taoyuan City (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Taoyuan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, Kainan University (KNU) is a medium-sized coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. Kainan University (KNU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. KNU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
