Established in 2010, Karatina University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium town of Karatina (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), Nyeri. Officially recognized by the Commission for University Education of Kenya, Karatina University (KaRu) is a medium-sized coeducational Kenyan higher education institution. Karatina University (KaRu) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. KaRu also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
