Founded in 1920, Kauno technikos kolegija (Kaunas Technical College) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Kaunas (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Lietuvos Respublikos vietimo ir mokslo ministerija (Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania), Kauno technikos kolegija (KTK) is a coeducational Lithuanian higher education institution. Kauno technikos kolegija (KTK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. KTK also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
