Founded in 1988, Kawamura Gakuen Women's University is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Abiko (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Chiba. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Kawamura Gakuen Women's University (KGWU) is a women only Japanese higher education institution.
