Founded in 1992, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Kharkiv (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kharkiv Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs (KhNUIA) is a large coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution.
