Founded in 1959, Kherson National Technical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Kherson (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Kherson Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kherson National Technical University (KNTU) is a small coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution. Kherson National Technical University (KNTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. KNTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
