Established in 1874, Kherson State Agrarian University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Kherson (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Kherson Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kherson State Agrarian University (KSAU) is a small coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution. Kherson State Agrarian University (KSAU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. KSAU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
