Established in 1962, Khmelnytskyi National University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Khmelnitsky (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Khmelnytskyi Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Khmelnytskyi National University (KNU) is a very small coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution. This 60 years old Ukrainian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades.
