Established in 1992, Khorog State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Khorugh (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Gorno-Badakhshan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khorog State University (KSU) is a coeducational Tajikistani higher education institution. Khorog State University (KSU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. KSU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
