Established in 1979, Khovd University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Khovd (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation, Khovd University (KhU) is a coeducational Mongolian higher education institution. Khovd University (KhU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. KhU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
