Established in 1946, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Pyongyang (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of North Korea, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education is a coeducational North Korean higher education institution. Kim Hyong Jik University of Education offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Kim Hyong Jik University of Education also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
