Established in 1992, Kirikkale Üniversitesi (Kirikkale University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Kirikkale (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). This institution also has a branch campus in Keskin and Hacilar. Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Kirikkale Üniversitesi (KU) is a very large coeducational Turkish higher education institution.
