Founded in 1968, Kobe International University is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Kobe (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Hyogo. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Kobe International University (KIU) is a very small coeducational Japanese higher education institution. Kobe International University (KIU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. KIU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
