Founded in 1997, Koforidua Technical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Koforidua (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Eastern Region. Officially recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board of Ghana), Koforidua Technical University (KTU) is a small coeducational Ghanaian higher education institution. Koforidua Technical University (KTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. KTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.
