Founded in 1991, Konyang University is a private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Nonsan (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South Chungcheong. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Konyang University (KYU) is a medium-sized coeducational South Korean higher education institution.
