Founded in 1947, Koriyama Women's University is a private higher-education institution located in the medium city of Koriyama (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Fukushima. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Koriyama Women's University is a women only Japanese higher education institution. Koriyama Women's University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. Koriyama Women's University also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
