Established in 1954, Kumasi Technical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Kumasi (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Ashanti. Officially recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board of Ghana), Kumasi Technical University (KTU) is a coeducational Ghanaian higher education institution. Kumasi Technical University (KTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. KTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
