Founded in 1994, Kunduz University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the small city of Kunduz (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Afghanistan, Kunduz University (KU) is a coeducational Afghan higher education institution. Kunduz University (KU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. KU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
