Founded in 1956, Kunming Medical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Kunming (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Yunnan. Officially recognized by the Department of Education of the Yunnan Province, Kunming Medical University (KMU) is a coeducational Chinese higher education institution. Kunming Medical University (KMU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
