Founded in 1996, Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo (Oslo National Academy of the Arts) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Oslo (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Kunnskapsdepartementet, Norge (Ministry of Education of Norway), Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo (KHiO) is a very small coeducational Norwegian higher education institution. Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo (KHiO) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. KHiO also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
