Founded in 1946, Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences is a higher-education institution located in the medium city of Sanandaj (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Kurdistan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences is a coeducational Iranian higher education institution.
