Founded in 1993, Latvijas Kristiga akademija (Latvian Christian Academy) is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Jurmala (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Riga. Officially recognized by the Latvijas Republikas Izglitibas un zinatnes ministrija (Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia), Latvijas Kristiga akademija is a coeducational Latvian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Nondenominational religion. Latvijas Kristiga akademija offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
