Founded in 1993, Liwa College of Technology is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Abu Dhabi (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially licensed by the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates, Liwa College of Technology (LCT) is a small coeducational Emirati higher education institution. Liwa College of Technology (LCT) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. LCT also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
