Founded in 2001, Marijampoles kolegija (Marijampole College) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Marijampole (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Lietuvos Respublikos vietimo ir mokslo ministerija (Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania), Marijampoles kolegija is a coeducational Lithuanian higher education institution. Marijampoles kolegija offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Marijampoles kolegija also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
