Established in 1890, Maritime State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Vladivostok (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Primorsky Krai. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Maritime State University is a small coeducational Russian higher education institution. Maritime State University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
