Founded in 1991, Maseno University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Maseno (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Kisumu. This institution also has a branch campus in Kisumu. Officially recognized by the Commission for University Education of Kenya, Maseno University (MU) is a small coeducational Kenyan higher education institution. Maseno University (MU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
