Established in 1988, Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Sari (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Mazandaran. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Ramsar, Amol, Behshahr. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences (MazUMS) is a small coeducational Iranian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Islamic religion. Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences (MazUMS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 34 years old Iranian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
