Established in 1986, Mbeya University of Science and Technology is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Mbeya (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities, Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) is a coeducational Tanzanian higher education institution. Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. MUST also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
