Founded in 2012, Mef Üniversitesi (Mef University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Istanbul (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Istanbul. Officially recognized by the YÖK - Yüksekögretim Kurulu (YÖK - Council of Higher Education), Mef Üniversitesi is a very small coeducational Turkish higher education institution. Mef Üniversitesi offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Mef Üniversitesi also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
