Founded in 1995, Mkitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Yerevan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Mkitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University is a coeducational Armenian higher education institution. Mkitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
