Founded in 2000, Modern University for Business and Science is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium town of Damour (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants), Mount Lebanon. This institution also has a branch campus in Beirut. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Education et de l'Enseignement supérieur, Liban (Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Lebanon), Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS) is a very small coeducational Lebanese higher education institution. Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 22 years old Lebanese higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Lebanese higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. MUBS also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
