Established in 1880, Moholy-Nagy Muvészeti Egyetem (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Budapest (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Magyar Felsooktatási Akkreditációs Bizottság (Hungarian Accreditation Committee), Moholy-Nagy Muvészeti Egyetem (MOME) is a very small coeducational Hungarian higher education institution. Moholy-Nagy Muvészeti Egyetem (MOME) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 142 years old Hungarian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades.
