Established in 1966, Mokpo Catholic University is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Mokpo (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South Jeolla. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Korea, Mokpo Catholic University (MCU) is a coeducational South Korean higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Mokpo Catholic University (MCU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. MCU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
