Founded in 1963, Moshi Co-operative University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Moshi (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Kilimanjaro. Officially recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities, Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) is a coeducational Tanzanian higher education institution. Moshi Co-operative University (MoCU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. MoCU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
