Founded in 1995, Mukachevo State University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Mukachevo (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Zakarpattia Oblast. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Mukachevo State University (MSU) is a coeducational Ukrainian higher education institution.
