Established in 2003, Mzumbe University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Morogoro (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities, Mzumbe University (MU) is a small coeducational Tanzanian higher education institution. Mzumbe University (MU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. MU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
