Founded in 1931, National Cheng Kung University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Tainan City (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Tainan. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) is a large coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
