Founded in 2000, National Chiayi University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Chiayi (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Chiayi County. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, National Chiayi University (NCYU) is a large coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. National Chiayi University (NCYU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. NCYU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
