Founded in 1980, National Formosa University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Huwei (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Yunlin County. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, National Formosa University (NFU) is a large coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. National Formosa University (NFU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 42 years old Taiwanese higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
