Founded in 1940, National Pingtung University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Pingtung City (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Pingtung County. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, National Pingtung University (NPTU) is a small coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. National Pingtung University (NPTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. NPTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
