Founded in 1972, National United University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Miaoli (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Miaoli County. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, National United University (NUU) is a medium-sized coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. National United University (NUU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. NUU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
